Den to Water is a futuristic play that follows two young girls, Aeria and Astrid, living in a sky-bound mega-city where a corrupt Warden strictly rations artificial beverages while hiding the existence of real water. Guided by a mysterious, all-knowing figure called the Oracle, the girls venture to the long-lost tree of life where they dig up the ground to uncover the truth of water. This prompts a direct confrontation with the Warden who had tried to label the life-giving liquid as a deadly poison. After the local citizens and children taste it for themselves, they enthusiastically defy the Warden’s authority. However, the chaotic climax of the guards and children about to fight abruptly distorts and dissolves as Aeria wakes up scared in her own bed, realizing that the entire dystopian rebellion was merely a vivid dream and that she has the ultimate right in her hands to make a decision between what is truly good for herself, versus what others believe is equally suitable for everyone.
